ADO ladies beat the males of DHC B juniors

Thursday evening saw the final warm up match before the ADO ladies take on Standard Liege in the BeNe super cup next Tuesday.

ADO ladies won the match easily 4-2. This was the first time I have seen the new squad in action and I was impressed. The atitude of the ladies was outstanding. The fight and tenacity of everybody involved gives reason to believe in another successful season this time around.

Sorry names can not be given, but there were no team sheets and no announcements. At half time the Guests were 0-1 up against the run of play, a goal scored in the twelfth minute. ADO twice hit the woodwork and only several superb saves by their goalkeeper kept ADO at bay.

The second half again saw ADO ladies dominate the youth boys of DHC. Three minutes into the second half ADO were back on level terms. ADO then took the lead in the sixty second minute.

The game then evened out as both sides were tackling hard and fighting for the next goal. In the seventy first minute DHC got level, a nice move that was well finished off, 2-2.

After conceding a goal the ADO ladies upped the work rate and their passion and fight for victory was amazing. In the seventy seventh minute a superb individual goal by Lineth Beerenstyn put ADO 3-2 ahead. From the half way line she cut inside beating two defenders before beating the keeper, she may only be small in stature, but wow she has a desire to win!

ADO wrapped up a great evening with a fourth goal in the eighty sixth minute. The juniors of DHC just could not cope with the ADO play, skill and drive.

After watching this performance I am sure ADO ladies will do well in both the BeNe league and the Champions league. I have never seen them so strong, so as the season progesses they can only get better. COME ON THE HAGUE!!!!!
