ADO lady breaks into Dutch National squad training

Paola van der Veen, the left centre back of ADO ladies has been invited by the head coach of the Dutch national team, Roger Reijners, to join up with 31 players for two days of training on the 4th and 5th February 2013 in Zeist. The Leidschendam girl made her defensive position her own from the early part of the season, part of the rejuvenated ADO Den Haag ladies side  that has been so successful in the new BeNe League. Paola van der Veen is also cited as a leader star of the under 19 Dutch squad.

Paola-van-der-VeenShe is the first player from the team of Sarina Wiegman this season to break into the A selection of Orange. Recently there were already seven players from ADO Den Haag selected for the under 19 and under 17. We wish her every success.

The other seven players selected are: Yvette van der Veen, Jennifer Vreugdenhil, Michelle Vrieling, Kitty Susan, Mandy van Dijk, Jessie van Leeuwen and Lineth Beerensteijn
