Santi Kolk rejoins ADO

Santi Kolk, attacker and Hagenaar at heart, trained for a while with the ADO squad and has now for the rest of the season signed for the club. He was a Free Agent and is now fully fit again, so he can be used immediately. Kolk brings the necessary experience, given his extensive resume of the past 13 years, 319 matches and 81 goals in professional football.

This agreement with Kolk was created by a guarantee from an anonymous sponsor. The line of budgeting and cost control which stated that no one is added to the selection before someone leaves remain thus maintained.

ADO Den Haag is happy with this gain for the line of attack and Santi is again welcomed back to the old nest.

ADO  DEN HAAG versus RSC  ANDERLECHT:WEDNESDAY 23 JANUARY 2013 19:30  at the KYOCERA  STADIUM, The Hague.

To all enthusiasts of top class ladies football and those yet to get acquainted with it. The second half of the BeNe League season is about to start. ADO Den Haag ladies have qualified for the (A) elite group which further match our club with  Beerschot AC, Lierse SK, RSC Anderlecht, Standard Liege of Belgium and three from Holland, PSV / FC Eindhoven ,Ajax and FC Twente.


At the request of UEFA, the start of this Competition is on 23 January and the honour of hosting the first game has been  given to the Kyocera Stadium in The Hague. ADO Den Haag ladies open at home against the Brussels club RSC Anderlecht.

Access to this big game is free to everyone, the opportunity to learn in the new year and get acquainted with the new BeNe League and / or with the Kyocera Stadium.

This day is also marked by the visit of some very important and high ranking officials of UEFA and KNVB: Also in the stadium that day are events that  include workshops, meetings and gatherings. The top ten European women’s footballing nations and all sixteen clubs in the BeNe leagues A and B will be present at this UEFA gathering.

The match promises to be an exciting one and will be officiated by a top European referee from men’s Professional football. It is the first game in European history where two clubs cross borders to play in a joint league.

So come along and experience this special occasion on Wednesday, January 23, kick-off is at 19:30  at the Kyocera Stadium.

ADO ladies double celebration

While in Barcelona. The annual Haagse Sports Gala was being held at the Circus Theatre in Scheveningen. ADO Den Haag ladies were up for two awards. Sarina Wiegman was up for the trainer of the year and the team up for the team of the year. The result?

ADO DEN HAAG LADIES WON BOTH!!!!!!!!

Now if this does not tempt you to visit a ladies game at the Kyocera stadium, nothing will. 2012 they won the league and cup double. 2013 they have now won this double acolade. This really is a team well worth coming to see. They are better than a lot of the male pro teams in the second tier of Dutch football.
