After a years absence from the top level of Dutch women’s football, Lisanne Grimberg returns to ADO ladies. A year ago the striker left ADO to concentrate on her studies and dropped down to ADO’s feeder club Ter Leede. With Ter Leede she won the championship and was also top scorer.
Now she returns to the ADO ladies team for the new season. “I hope with the team to compete for the top places, it is important for the team to grow to the highest attainable level and as a player myself.” said Grimberg.
Trainer / Coach, Sarina Wiegman was pleasantly surprised when Lisanne again volunteered to be at the club: “Of course I reacted positively. Lisanne has proved in the past with ADO and last season at Ter Leede proved what a valuable player she is. She is a regular target man and has scoring ability. Our selection already looked good, but now we have grown stronger in the front and there is competition in all lines “.
Lisanne was a double winner with ADO ladies in the 2011-2012 season, last season she also came back and played a part in the cup win over FC Twente. She is a strong player with undoubted ability. I think that ADO’s attack this coming season is one all defences will be frightened of. Welcome back Lisanne.
This coming Friday, 2nd August at 16.00. Cup winners ADO Ladies return to training for the new season.
Please feel free to come along and show your support for the ladies as they prepare for the season ahead. Training takes place at the home of VV. Wilhelmus on the Groene Zoom, just on the edge of Voorburg..

The 19-year-old Catalin Stefan Tira has signed a contract with ADO Den Haag.
The Romanian striker was already at the club for few weeks training with the ADO first team squad. The coaching staff sees in him a great talent and thus, the club decided a two-year contract plus an option for another two years was a good offer.
He was in the interest of a number of European and other Dutch clubs, but he has opted to join ADO Den Haag because of the visible development of young players in recent years. Tira came this summer from the youth team of top Italian side Lazio of Rome.
After two seasons ADO Den Haag’s Tjaronn Chery has made the move to FC Groningen.
Tuesday afternoon he will be presented to his new club in the North of the country. The development of Chery at ADO Den Haag went well after his arrival from FC Emmen, it fits the image that talent at ADO Den Haag can and does get the chance to break through.
Chery (25 years) wished emphatically to make the next step in his career and ADO Den Haag is satisfied with the profit made for the club from this deal.
Everybody at ADOwishes him all the best at his new club.
ADO Den Haag and FC Twente have reached an agreement for the loan of Jerson Cabral (22 years) for next season.
The winger, who has already played for the Dutch national team at all youth levels. He has opted for ADO Den Haag, something the technical staff of the club are very pleased about.
This comes as no surprise as Cabral was spotted at the recent ADO v Excelsior friendly. The player started his career at the Feyenoord youth academy before joining FC Twente.
