After a years absence from the top level of Dutch women’s football, Lisanne Grimberg returns to ADO ladies. A year ago the striker left ADO to concentrate on her studies and dropped down to ADO’s feeder club Ter Leede. With Ter Leede she won the championship and was also top scorer.
Now she returns to the ADO ladies team for the new season. “I hope with the team to compete for the top places, it is important for the team to grow to the highest attainable level and as a player myself.” said Grimberg.
Trainer / Coach, Sarina Wiegman was pleasantly surprised when Lisanne again volunteered to be at the club: “Of course I reacted positively. Lisanne has proved in the past with ADO and last season at Ter Leede proved what a valuable player she is. She is a regular target man and has scoring ability. Our selection already looked good, but now we have grown stronger in the front and there is competition in all lines “.
Lisanne was a double winner with ADO ladies in the 2011-2012 season, last season she also came back and played a part in the cup win over FC Twente. She is a strong player with undoubted ability. I think that ADO’s attack this coming season is one all defences will be frightened of. Welcome back Lisanne.
