First Dutch pink football club ADO Den Haag

Abroad  this is quite common, now it is in the Netherlands for the first time: a pink football club. The first football club in Holland is ADO Den Haag. The Pink Règâhs are a fact.

A number of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender football fans of ADO Den Haag have decided to create a group to talk about football and our favorite club.

The Pink Règâhs look for no separate place in the Kyocera stadium. They sit or stand just like all the other fans in the stands. Fans with a greenyellow heart, but with a pink edge.

The founders of the Pink Règâhs are hoping for more mutual respect. In addition, they hope to make a contribution to the fight against homophobia in sport in general and football in particular.

The Pink Règâhs is an initiative supported by all at ADO Den Haag

The establishment of the Pink Règâhs is independent of the action plan by the KNVB (Dutch FA) to promote gay acceptance in football under the “Football for All”, but does it seamlessly. ADO Den Hague is a fantastic club for all.

The fans before and after home games meet in a regular hangout. For the away games they watch the matches on Foxsports as a group.

The Pink Règâhs is the first Dutch football club with LGBT background. In Germany already there are 20 associations who are active, 24 associations are affiliated with the network Queer Football Fans at European level.

The Pink Règâhs is accessible via the website www.rozeregahs.nl and Facebook www.facebook.com/RozeRegahs.
