ADO v Ajax ticket news

Before the game against Ajax on Sunday 1st December, ADO Den Haag  Club Card holder can purchase two match tickets instead of the usual one. Also Season Ticket holders have the opportunity to buy an extra ticket for this match in additional to their season ticket. Ticket sales for this game has already started and runs via Ticketbox and Eticketing!

This always exciting game will be played at 12:30 on Sunday 1st December. Last season, the game ended in the Kyocera stadium in a 1-1 draw.

To buy tickets for the match against Ajax you MUST have the minimum of a club Club Card. If you want to visit this match so you must be in possession of a club card or know someone with a club card who you can buy a ticket.

ADO ladies first BeNe league home game

ADO ladies will play their first home game of the new BeNe league season next Tuesday, a week from today. ADO ladies have been in great form of late, losing only one of their friendly matches and winning the rest. All is looking great for this season after manager Sarina Wiegman made some excellent signings that have really improved the squad.


So don’t be shy, Expat supporters are always welcome, nice atmosphere, have a drink aty the bar and watch the ADO ladies begin thier challenge for the BeNe league title.

Trial for Chinese midfielder at ADO

This week ADO Den Haag have had  the 22-year-old Chinese midfielder Wang Chu on trial. Wang Chu, who has been living in Europe, comes from the youth academy of Metz and played last season for the Luxembourg club Jeunesse d’Esch.

Earlier this season, he made two goals in the Europa League matches between Jeunesse and the Finnish Turku PS.

The contacts between ADO Den Haag and Wang Chu were laid by Chun Li, owner of Dong Dao China Direct and a business associate of ADO Den Haag.

Wang Chu plays this afternoon in a friendly match between the reserve teams of ADO Den Haag and Excelsior.

ADO ladies lose their final friendly

ADO ladies tasted defeat in their final friendly before the start of the new BeNe league season.

ADO travelled to face BV Cloppenburg, a team newly promoted to the top division of German ladies football. The Germans played in a hard and physical manner which was good preparation for the ADO youngsters. Manager Sarina Wiegman used the game to try out many things, so there were lots of changes.

ADO were at one time losing 4-0, yet the heads and hearts did not drop and they pulled the final score back to 4-2. A good work out for the team, next up is Anderlecht away on Friday night, kick-off 20.30.

ADO sign new Danish star

ADO Den Haag have signed the young attacking midfielder Mathias Gehrt (21 years). He comes from the Danish club side Brondby, where he has played nearly sixty games in the first team. He has signed a contract for two years with an option for two more seasons.

Gehrt has played for Denmark at all the countries Under 16 representative teams and is considered one of the great talents of the Danish game. ADO Den Haag are proud to have capturedof this creative player to add to the selection. Like many Danish footballers Gehrt wanted to play abroad to develop, so now he is at ADO Den Haag.

ADO are working hard to get Gehrt paperwork sorted before this weekend so he may be eligible to play against Roday JC this Saturday at the Kyocera stadium.

ADO games this week

On Friday night ADO ladies travel to Germany to take on FC Cloppenburg in their final warm up fixture before the new season starts away to Anderlecht next Friday 30th August.

ADO Den Haag play at home this Saturday taking on Roda JC from Kerkrade, kick-off 19.45 at the Kyocera stadium. Tickets are available on the day from the stadium ticket office. A club card is not needed, just a copy of some legitimate photo ID such as a passport or driving license. One ID for each ticket.
