ADO ladies under 19’s selected for Holland

ADO Den Haag ladies Lineth Beerensteyn (16), Mandy van Dijk (16), Jessie van Leeuwen (17), Jennifer Vreugdenhil (18), Michelle Vrieling (18) and Ilse van der Windt (17) have all been selected by coach Andre Koolhof for a training day with the Dutch women’s under 19’s team.

This training will take place on Monday 2nd Septmember at the KNVB Sports Centre in Zeist.

A day later, on the 3rd September  ADO ladies play  their first home game of the League BeNe season in the Kyocera Stadium against the Belgian AA Gent.

The selection of so many young ADO players proves what a great collection of young talent Sarina Wiegman has gathered at the club. This can only be good for the team as they all grow together as a unit, exciting times ahead.

Kevin Jansen out for months

Yesterday afternoon at the Medical Center Haaglanden Dr. Van Arkel unfortunately confirmed what was already feared: Kevin Jansen, has torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee tor  n.An MRI scan gave the answer about the severity of the injury, which Kevin suffered in the match against NAC Breda on Sunday when he landed awkwardly after challenging for a header. He will be temporarily disabled so. Kevin will soon undergo surgery.

Fixtures coming up.

This coming Friday evening 16th Aug – DHC (B-juniors) v ADO ladies. A battle of the sexes as our ladies take on the men from Delft. Last season the ADO ladies won 4-2. Kick -off is at 19.30, Free entry and the ground has a very nice bar too.

On Sunday 18th August ADO Den Haag travel away to play NAC Breda, the new home of former ADO striker Rydell Poepon. Kick-off at 14.30. Will ADO gain their first points of the new season?

KYOCERA shirt sponsor of ADO Den Haag Women

KYOCERA will have their name on the football shirts next season of the ADO  ladies team. During the annual photo / press day of the ADO ladies squad they became the new shirt sponsor. The sponsorship agreement for one year was signed by Etienne Hendriks (General Manager KYOCERA), Rob Reijenga and Kees Point. The photo / press day took place at the home of another sponsor of ADO ladies, the Steigenberger Kurhaus Hotel in Scheveningen. The namesake of the stadium already last season was the sponsor of the European match shirts, who last season for the second time in succession won the KNVB Cup.

With this sponsorship, we hope to contribute to the further development of women’s football in the Netherlands and especially with ADO Den Haag Women in particular.
