Since last Sunday’s 1-1 draw at RKC Waalwijk, there had been a cloud hanging over Keeper, Gino Coutinho. It was stated that when RKC scored he kicked out at the goal scorer Romeo Castelen. Initially is was thought that the kick was intentional and therefore as not seen by the referee Bas Nijhuis, he should be judged by the KNVB disciplinary committee.
Firstly is was announced that he would face a three game ban, plus a fourth one held over. Gino disagreed with this decision. Today the KNVB judged in favour of Coutinho, who will now be able to face FC Groningen tomorrow. Great news for Gino and the club.

ADO manager Henk Fraser in recent weeks has called Aaron Meijers the only player on the basis of his games and commitment this season who is guaranteed a place in the team. Meijers had the option to extend his contract with the club. All parties agreed on this and Aaron wil continue to wear the Yellow and grean shirt for another two seasons.
The left footed number eight came in the summer of 2012 from RKC Waalwijk, when he signed a two-year contract with an option for two more in The Hague. Meijers is currently 26 years old and was born in Delftcoming to ADO Den Haag back to his roots, as he was born in Delft, so a local boy at heart,. His debut in professional football came in 2006 at FC Volendam.
Alberto of ADO Journaal.nl has produced a great video of the atmosphere created by the 300 ADO fans who had gone to the game at RKC Waalwijk.
If you ever get the chance, you should go to an ADO away game, always fun in the stands.
