On Saturday evening, ADO travel the long journey to Leeuwarden to take on sc Cambuur in their final fixture of this crazy season. Only in February most people in football saw ADO as having no chance of staying in the Eredivisie. The fight, passion and skill levels had all but disappeared from the team; quite why, nobody really knows.
However, since Henk Fraser took charge, things have totally turned around. There is a team spirit once again in the ADO camp, smiling faces at training. A great run of only one defeat in eleven games tells its own story, especially as that one defeat was away to the newly crowned champions, and that was only a narrow 3-2 loss!
So now ADO are safe, they go to sc Cambuur full of confidence and nothing to worry about. “COME ON THE HAGUE!”

Renate Jansen last night played in her 150th official ADO ladies game, this gave her the appearance record that she was sharing with Sheila van den Bulk. Renate is a very down to earth lady who is easy to talk to and admits to being honoured by her new record.
Renate started at ADO ladies in the summer of 2008. Since then she has become one of the best strikers in Dutch football, she has also been involved at international level.
Her appearances have been 131 league games, 16 in the KNVB Beker (Cup), 2 in the Champions league and 1 in the In the BeNe league super cup. In her 150 games for ADO ladies she has scored a total of 87 goals in all competitions. 71 scored in league games, 15 in the KNVB Beker and 1 in the Champions league. This gives an avarage of 0.58 goals per game, an outstanding record.
Long may she stay at ADO ladies and continue to score the goals the club needs.
