A call has been made for all supporters attending the ADO Den Haag v Ajax game on Sunday to show support and love to fans who have recently lost their lives or lost people close to them.
This week saw a horrific car accident involving supporters of our twin club Legia Warsaw. They were traveling home from the club’s Europa league game against Lokeren last Thursday. This game was also attended by many fans from Den Haag. The terrible news that two supporters of Legia have died has touched us deeply. Our relationship with Legia has recently become much stronger. Besides our endorsement we want to do something extra to help our friends in this difficult time!
But unfortunately there was more bad news last week.
Unfortunately, last week, November 17, Chiara; the daughter of a loyal supporter of FC Den Haag Amar, did not come alive in the world. During the labour there were complications. His son Jediro Sofia plays at ADO Den Haag for the under 9’s at the youth academy based at the Aftrap in Zuiderpark. All the parents of his team mates laid a beautiful heart with flowers with the ribbon that read: “ADO DEN HAAG under 9″
Also last week, one of the famous supporters from the Old Firm FC Den Haag Max de Lange passed away after a short illness.
We call on every supporter to join us in the 12th minute to clap and reflect on these terrible events. After a minutes applause we want everybody to sing the football anthem “You Never Walk Alone.” as a special mark of respect.
