ADO ladies have ended 2014 on a high note. A stunning 1-2 win away at reigning champions FC Twente. The home side were the stronger in the first half and took the lead in the fifteenth minute thanks to a goal by Jill Roord 1-0.
The second half saw the visitors grow in confidence. As the clock counted down it looked as though the year would end in a defeat. This however was not the case as two of ADO’s stars grabbed late goals to win the game. First Lineth Beerensteyn made it 1-1 in the eighty fifth minute.
Then in added time, Holland’s top young talent Beerensteyn scored again, the goal that gave ADO ladies the three points. A stunning win and all bodes well for the coming year after the winter break.
