ADO Den Haag have signed experienced striker Edouard Duplan. The 32-year-old Frenchman has signed a contract for the next 3 years.
Edouard Duplan has been playing since 2006 in the Netherlands, after a bing at a number of smaller French clubs, having played for AS Choicy-le-Roi and Clermont Foot Auvergne. Rob Meppelink, the former technical director in Roosendaal, persuaded him to join RBC Roosendaal before then moving onto Sparta Rotterdam before he left to join FC Utrecht. There he played the last five years, he could have extended his expiring contract but instead opted for a move to ADO Den Haag.
Technical manager Rob Meppelink: “We are delighted that as a club we can bring in a player with the caliber of Edouard. For me personally it is quite special because we have known each other a long time.”
Edouard Duplan: “ADO Den Haag is a club that suits me and the ambitions of the club speak to me. I find it a great challenge for the coming years to grow along with the club.”
