ADO Den Haag has reinforced its squad on Thursday with the signing of midfielder Achraf El Mahdioui. The 20-year-old player comes from Ajax, where last season he made his professional debut. El Mahdioui turned quickly into a regular first team squad member. Born in Amsterdam, he has signed for three years with ADO Den Haag and will play in number six shirt.

El Mahdioui was admitted into the Ajax youth academy of development in 2013. El Mahdioui started at Ajax in the A2, but soon joined the A1. The midfielder was in his first season directly voted as being the ‘Talent of the Future’. Thus he joined such names as Davy Klaassen, Rafael van der Vaart and Wesley Sneijder. Last season El Mahdioui was part of the first team squad at youth level and debuted on September 18th 2015 at Go Ahead Eagles in the Jupiler League. In total he managed to play in 23 games and scored three times. He even became captain.
According to El Mahdioui ADO Den Haag is the ideal club to further develop himself. “I’m obviously out of the Jupiler League and I’m gonna have be ready to turn out for the Eredivise. I will therefor be doing my very best in training. I hope to get as much playing time as possible. I am a midfielder who likes to play the game in both halves of the pitch. With my great passes I can put a player into the match. I hope to be of value to the club.”
Head Coach of ADO Den Haag, Zeljko Petrovic, is ecstatic that the club could attract a player like El Mahdioui. “With Achraf we get a very talented midfielder. He has been proven at Ajax in recent years. It says a lot that many foreign clubs wanted to take him in. That Achraf then choose ADO Den Haag is a compliment to our club. We will certainly have fun with Achraf in the coming years.”

During the past two weeks in the Kyocera Stadium there has been a lot of hard work going on to return the stork back to the North Side seating.

Students of the ROC Mondriaan last week removed the chairs of the blocks N, O and P and the past week, in collaboration with W & H Sports placed the new seats.
The original logo was removed in the years following the opening of the stadium in 2007, but has now returned.
For the hockey World Cup in 2014, the city council decided that they would replace any broken chairs. It was then decided that the logo of the Stork would be back after the World Cup Hockey. The Hague has now fullfilled that promise. ADO Den Haag is very grateful to the community for this wonderful gesture.

NL Express, with headquarters in Nieuw-Vennep, specializes in parcel logistics from the Netherlands to China. It is one of the largest Chinese distributors in the Netherlands. The company provides reliable parcel delivery and customized packaging solutions for shipments to China.
Kan says the agreement mainly came about because of the Chinese owner of ADO Den Haag, mr. Wang Hui. “Of course we support our own people. It would be nice if in the future we can also support Chinese football. That would attract more Chinese people to the stadium, and would benefit Chinese football.”
Manders is delighted with the new sponsor: “Last year we met the directors of NL Express in China. They have become so excited that they have taken a Sky Lounge. A nice first success with a Chinese company that we have achieve on our own. Hopefully we can get more.
