ADO ladies make it four from four

ADO ladies took on PSV Eindhoven in the Kyocera stadium on Friday night and kept up their winning ways. ADO totally dominated a great first half for the home side and were three goals up at the break. Goals from Sharona Tieleman after eight minutes 1-0, after 18 minutes Nadine Noordam made it 2-0 and finally Yvette van der Veen converted a thirty eighth minute penalty, 3-0.

The second half saw PSV keeping ADO at bay, thus keeping the score down. They did grab a consolation goal in the seventy ninth minute from Vanessa Susanna ,3-1.

It was a shame ADO couldn’t get the extra two goals that would have helped with their goal difference, as after four games and twelve points, they sit in second place on goal difference behind leaders Ajax, who they face next Friday night in the Kyocera stadium.

ADO ladies team: Jennifer Vreugdenhil; Yvette van der Veen, Helene Heemskerk (c), Mijke Roelfsema, Priscilla Mesker; Nadine Noordam, Vesna Veltrop (63. Michelle Vrieling), Victoria Pelova (86. Nikki Ridder); Lindsey Keizerweerd (76. Nance van der Meer), Pia Rijsdijk, Sharona Tieleman

Injury update: Meissner to miss PEC Zwolle

ADO Den Haag Coach Zeljko Petrovic will not be able to select defender Thomas Meissner for the Friday game against PEC Zwolle. The German suffered a muscle injury against Heerenveen. The expectation are that Meissner will be available for the game against Ajax.

Earlier it was announced that Aaron Meijers PEC Zwolle also has to miss out. The captain has suffered from fluid in the knee and on Monday investigations in hospital concluded that Meijers will be out of a few weeks.

Petrovic has stated that the logical replacements for the Zwolle game will be Tyronne Ebuehi and Wilfried Kanon.
