After ADO Den Haag’s first win of 2017, also meaning they collected five points from last three games, it would seem once bottom of the league ADO would be on the rise. Sadly the other teams in and around the relegation area have also started to grab desperate points. After ADO’s 1-0 victory over NEC, they climbed momentarily out of the drop/play-off zone. By the end of Sunday, they dropped back down to seventeenth place.
Big wins for Excelsior and Roda did not help with the goal difference either. ADO’s next game is at AZ, following that is an international break. The following game is then at home to Roda JC, this really is a MUST win game and hopefully by a large margin.
It looks as though it will go down to the final few games to see what’s what. A good thing maybe, is that ADO will be facing both Sparta (away) and Excelsior (home) in the run in, real squeaky bum time.
