ADO Den Haag’s winning streak continues with a stunning 4-3 win over FC Groningen on Saturday night.
ADO took a three goal lead in the first half thanks to goals from Danny Bakker in the thirteenth minute. Then two goals inside two minutes by Dion Malone after twenty one minutes and Mike Havenaar in the twenty third minute.
It got even better for ADO, as only two minutes into the second half, Malone got his second of the game. This was looking all to easy for ADO and making the important goal difference swing in their favour.
The visitors then created an amazing come back, which saw plenty of finger nail biting. THe come back began with a goal from Mimoun Mahi after fifty two minutes. Then Bryan Linssen made it 4-2 in the sixty fourth minute. Linssen made the scoreline more respectable for the visitors scoring the final goal of the game four minutes into the additional stoppage time.
The win saw ADO rise up the league table and see’s the club sitting in thirteenth position. But the gap is not yet big enough to make any pressure subside. Next up is another game in the Kyocera stadium, a tough challenge against PSV Eindhoven on Saturday.
