Barbara Lorsheyd will be part of the ADO ladies squad for the 2017-2018 season. The 26-year-old keeper returns to the Kyocera Stadium.
In the 2007-2008 season, Barbara Lorsheyd at the age of 16 came to the club as a young talent. From the beginning she was the first keeper to stay for a few seasons. Thus she became part of the renowned team that won the Championship and the KNVB Beker (cup) in season 2011-2012. After six seasons at ADO ladies, Lorsheyd left for Telstar in 2014 where she played for two seasons. She then continued her football career at FC Twente, where she still defends the goal until the end of the season.
“I would like to start the new season at ADO ladies. It is a beautiful club, always fighting with passion on the pitch. In addition, it’s great with the fans who always do their best to create a nice atmosphere in the stadium. I have been playing for seven seasons myself and am glad I can play in an ADO ladies shirt again.”
A Hague icon returns to the old nest again, according to technical manager Alex Scholte. Chief trainer Arend Regeer agrees with this and sees cooperation with Barbara: “Barbara is a keeper with experience, is driven and strong in coaching.”
