The day after the 1-0 victory over Vitesse Arnhem, more GREAT news has been reported at ADO Den Haag. Goalkeeper Robert Zwinkels has signed a contract for an indefinite period at the club currently eighth in the Eredivisie. The 34-year-old keeper will continue as a player for at least two more years after this season.
Zwinkels is currently the longest serving Eredivisie player at the same club. The Wateringer has been under contract with ADO since 2005. He is already working on his thirteenth season. Zwinkels was allowed to perform once in the main squad in his first year. The seasons after, the goalkeeper regularly managed to build up with his matches. For several periods he was first choice to be under the bar at ADO, including the last year under trainer Fons Groenendijk. Zwinkels has now played 133 official matches for the club.
