As of the second half of the season, the players of ADO Den Haag ladies will be wearing new presentation suits from Expresso Fashion. With this, a long-cherished wish to dress up the women professionally around match day is fulfilled. The cooperation between Expresso Fashion and ADO ladies has been concluded for a period of two and a half season and will be gradually expanded. For example, it has been agreed to dress the staff around ADO ladies next season and it will be periodically checked whether elements of the presentation pack can be changed.
Expresso Fashion is part of FNG a strongly growing international fashion group with brands such as Baker Bridge, Brantano, CKS, Claudia Sträter, Expresso Fashion, Fred & Ginger, Miss Etam, Promiss and Steps.
Expresso is a women’s fashion brand that designs all collections in-house, so that a clearly distinctive signature is visible. Elegant and wearable fashion for an adult woman is the starting point. The brand strives to make the production chain more and more sustainable, among other things in cooperation with the Fair Wear Foundation. The Expresso collections are available in 30 Expresso Stores, 700 sales outlets, 21 shop-in-shops and 3 Expresso webshops in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. With the Dutch ladies team, the company had already gained experience in dressing up football teams.
When Expresso received the request to “dress” ADO ladies, it immediately reacted enthusiastically and after a few meetings a stylish and sporty outfit was chosen. The team then had a test session in the Expresso store in Zoetermeer and last Friday the contract was officially signed that will connect Expresso Fashion to ADO ladies in the coming years. Expresso logically sees this as a nice step with the women’s team and also wants the fans and the supporters to get acquainted with the Expresso collection.
Esther van Eijk, formula manager at Expresso Fashion, is very pleased with the new collaboration: “Making fashion is one thing, but trying to make a difference is another. Our first goal is to dress women nicely, but with social awareness. We like to support initiatives in which women play a special role, ambitious goals of adult women. We see the power vrouwen of ADO ladies fit perfectly in that picture. We are proud that our outfits are worn by them with a sense of style.”
Commercial manager Richard de Lange of ADO ladies is also pleased that the women are now dressed around match day in modern stylish presentation suits. “It was high on my wish list to find a nice partner for our presentation suits. We found it in Expresso. The contacts were very pleasant from the start and they helped us very well in finding a style that fits well with young, sporty women. Stylish, but not too tight, so it’s nice and looks good during long bus journeys. We look forward to expanding the cooperation with Expresso Fashion in the coming years and to give it a meaningful interpretation.”
